Helping others has always been part of my path, even when the way forward wasn’t clear. My background includes social work, child and youth care, and community-based mental health. Over time, I saw how much people longed for a safe, supportive space where they could slow down, reflect, and be heard.
Private practice allows me to offer that space. One that’s compassionate, sustainable, and grounded in values of accessibility, respect, and genuine human connection.
At the heart of my work is a person-centered, humanist perspective. I hold the belief that you already carry the capacity for growth and healing when the right support is present.
In sessions, you can expect empathy, curiosity, and a pace that feels right for you. I draw from approaches like:
Person-Centered and Narrative Therapy
Somatic and Mindfulness-based practices
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Compassion-Focused work
Strengths-based and Solution-Focused approaches
Every session is different, shaped by your needs, your story, and what feels most supportive in the moment. Some days we’ll go deep and some days we’ll simply rest in the moment - whatever feels right for you.

I try to live by the same values I bring into sessions - slowing down, noticing small joys, and staying connected. You’ll often find me walking with my partner and our dog, knitting or crocheting, hiking, baking, or exploring Newfoundland’s wild landscapes.
Creativity, movement, and playfulness help me stay grounded, and they remind me of the many ways people can find meaning and resilience in their lives. These rhythms of being rooted, creative, and intentionally slower, help to sustain me and shape how I show up in my work, too.
